Something I should read

... whether to find reasonable arguments or not-to-follow models: The downside of diversity. According to a recent study, it looks like the diversity in the US hurts civic life. I'm not necessarily shocked at a first superficial glance. I guess the real questions should be : If it's true, is it good or bad? Should there be something done about it? I'm mostly interested in the concept of civic life, whether it still fits diversity or should it be redefined.
